Today while sitting in a coffee shop I started wondering what is the most expensive bag.
I heard that the Birkin bag was the most expensive but I wanted to find out for myself. So today I'm on a quest to find out what is the most expensive bag.
It turns out that the most expensive bag is Mouawad's 1001 Nights Diamond Purse made with 18K gold and 4500 encrusted diamonds. It cost 3.8 million. Wow! imagine having that on your arm at a holiday party.
The popular Hermes Birkin bag came in second. The Himalayan bag sold at auction for $382K. This bag is amazing! The dye process takes hours to achieve and is meant to evoke the snow-capped Himalayan mountains. It features diamond-encrusted hardware and the French luxury house Hermes only makes one or two each year.
So there you go, the most expensive bag is Mouawad's 1001 Nights Diamond Purse and the Hermes Himalayan bag is second. I mean after all both bags are worth more than my New York apartment.
